In Serbia, there are many places where woodcock nests and remains until late autumn.
A very limited number of domestic hunters hunt woodcock, as there was no tradition of hunting woodcock in the distant or recent past.
Due to climate change in recent years, an increasing number of birds have been observed remaining in Serbia throughout the winter.
As an avid woodcock hunter, I have researched and had the opportunity to hunt in all regions and mountains of Serbia.
For the past 12 years, I have been regularly keeping my hunting diary on woodcock hunting and have seen them in completely new locations during the breeding season from May to mid-July, and also during the hunting season in October, November, December, January
I’ve decided to offer my guests a completely new 5-day woodcock hunt in three different regions.
Pešter is a vast plateau where domestic livestock is still raised. It is abundant with pastures and forests of hornbeam, beech, and fir. It is crossed by streams and is rich in springs, making it an ideal place for woodcocks to nest and rest until the first snowfalls.
Vlasina is a region of exceptional quality, rich in birch, beech, and coniferous forests with a lake located at an altitude of 1200 meters, through which many small rivers and streams from the surrounding hills.
The highest peak of Vlasina is 1,800 meters above sea level and abounds with endless pastures
and coniferous forests.
A very large number of woodcocks are present from May to mid-December.
Blace and Brus are two combined hunting reserves, covering more than 90,000 acres, and are located exactly halfway between Pešter and Vlasina.
Blace is where I live and where I most often hunt woodcock. It is one of the most beautiful hunting grounds in Serbia, with many small ravines and valleys, bordered by acacia, oak, and beech forests.
We offer you the opportunity to hunt in all three locations for 5 days.

The hunting program lasts 5 days and 6 nights for a group of at least 2 hunters
Per hunter: 1,480 euros
The program includes:
– Dinner and overnight stay on the day of arrival
– Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
– 5-day hunting
– Unlimited shooting
– Taxes
– Gamekeeper escort
The program does not include:
– drinks and beverages
– transportation during the hunt – jeep for up to 3 people – 80 euros per day (only upon request
of the guest)
– single room 20 euros/night
